Kinda Kapers Tiral Street Long Day Care Centre is a privately run service, catering for 33 children a day.
We care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Hours of operation

The service is open for approximately 51 weeks of the year, closing for approximately 1 week over the Christmas period and for all public holidays.
Our normal hours are 7.30 am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday

Fees
|
$83.00 per day for children aged 6 weeks to 2 years
$80.00 per day for children aged 2 years to 3 years
$75.00 per day for children aged 3 years to 6 years
Each service will be able to give you information on CCB and Childcare Tax Rebate. This makes childcare more affordable for all families

Food
|
Kinda Kapers Tiral St promotes healthy eating. This means that your child will not be given foods that are high in sugars, fats or artificial colours, flavours and preservatives.
This is a regulation made by the “Department of Community Services” and must be followed by all staff.
Kinda Kapers provides Morning Tea and Afternoon Tea for all children. This consists of fresh fruit and a savoury biscuit. Children are also provided with milk and water for drinking at all meals. All children are encouraged to eat fresh fruit for morning tea first and the their savoury snack.
Parents / Carers are asked to provide sandwiches, meat and vegetables or salad for lunch as well as fresh fruit, yoghurt, cheese or plain and savoury biscuits.

What will my child do at day care ?
6 Weeks to 2 Years
Staff will maintain your babies routine as closely as possible to your home routine for familiarity. Staff will also ensure that developmentally appropriate experiences are provided on a one on one basis throughout the day.
2 – 3 Years
Children will participate in language, music, art, craft, story and spontaneous experiences in small groups of no more than 8 children.
3 – 6 Years
Children will participate in a wide range of experiences based on N.S.W Curriculum Framework for Children’s Services.
They will also participate in a structured language and school readiness program, that focuses on literacy and numeracy development. All developmental areas are programmed for on a daily/weekly basis.
