Lake Macquarie Kinda Kapers Long Day Care Centre is a privately run service, catering for 71 children a day.
We care for children aged 6 weeks to 6 years.

Hours of operation
|
The service is open for approximately 51 weeks of the year, closing for 1 week over the Christmas period and for all public holidays.
Our normal hours are 7.00 am to 6.00pm Monday to Friday
We also have an early opening of 6.30am to 7.00am. This is charged at an additional fee.

Fees
|
$85.00 per day for children aged 6 weeks to 2 years
$80.00 per day for children aged 2 years to 3 years
$78.00 per day for children aged 3 years to 6 years
Each service will be able to give you information on CCB and Childcare Tax Rebate. This makes childcare more affordable for all families

Food
|
Lake Macquarie Kinda Kapers provides Morning Tea, Lunch and Afternoon Tea for all children.
Food is provided by a qualified cook and is based on the “Department of Community Services” regulations to ensure that children are provided with a nutritionally balanced and appetizing diet while in the centre.
If you use our early opening at 6.30am supervised breakfast will be provided.
If your child starts at 7.00am, no breakfast is provided.

What will my child do at day care ?
6 Weeks to 2 Years
Staff will maintain your babies routine as closely as possible to your home routine for familiarity. Staff will also ensure that developmentally appropriate experiences are provided on a one on one basis throughout the day.
2 – 3 Years
Children will participate in language, music, art, craft, story and spontaneous experiences in small groups of no more than 8 children.
3 – 6 Years
Children will participate in a wide range of experiences based on N.S.W Curriculum Framework for Children’s Services.
They will also participate in a structured language and school readiness program, that focuses on literacy and numeracy development. All developmental areas are programmed for on a daily/weekly basis.
